At the beginning of this year I split my Pilot study into two separate studies. While the title of each has changed after a semester's worth of work, the content in each remains the same. In my first learning plan, which was originally named the "Minimalist Plan", I am receiving social studies credit through researching socioeconomic impacts of minimalist living. Throughout the year I will be researching efficient housing solutions to the current refugee crisis. A large part of this plan is also constructing the tiny house I have designed over the past two years. My second learning plan, the "Mountaineering and Wilderness Litterature Plan" I am receiving art and English credit. For my English credit I am writing multiple pieces about the relationship between people, space and nature. My art work, in the medium of photography, is essentially a visual representation of the themes I am covering in my English study.
